From the team behind the award winning Victorian Craft Beer Café, KØBENHAVN is a craft beer bar in the centre of Halifax, West Yorkshire. Situated under the glass roof of the Westgate Arcade near the famous grade I listed building, the Piece Hall, there are 24 beers on tap and 6 modern handpulled ales, bringing more choice to the discerning beer drinkers of Halifax. Sour beers, fruit beers and lagers can be found amongst the array of pale ales and IPAs, so come and ask for a taster.

Bigger & Better

Our kitchen should be up and running early 2024 as we expand into the premises previous known as The Blue Mountain. This will also allow us to install a proper toilet block downstairs.

Pucker Up

Our sour beer fest, Pucker Up is held in July every year. What better way to enjoy the summer!

Not Just Beer

Being a town centre location, coffee and low/non alcoholic drinks are a popular choice and are provided in a relaxing setting for you to unwind. Going out for a meal in Halifax? We have a large selection of wine to set the scene for your evening, most of which are available by the glass.

There is a covered beer garden in front and the function room upstairs is available for parties and meetings etc and is free to use.
